Known as the youngest baseball player of all time, Joe Nuxhall passed away on 11/15/07 at the age of 79.  He made his major league debut, and major league history in 1944, when he became the youngest player to ever play in a game.  He pitched for the Cincinnati Reds just a few days out of junior high school.  He was 15 years, 10 months and 11 days old!  He pitched until 1966, then continued as a broadcaster.  He won 135 games, but was best known as a Reds broadcaster.  He was big for his age, at 6 ft and 3 inches. Two weeks before his debut, he was pitching to seventh-ninth graders, kids 13-14 years old, then all of a sudden, he's pitching to Stan Musial and other professional adults! What a scary situation. 


How would a 15 years old respond if called to pitch in a major league game today?  Is there a Freddy Adu baseball player out there? Could they handle the pressure todays opponents and a massive major league crowd in New York, Chicago or Boston?
