KC Chiefs Sellouts

Great Winning Tradition at Arrowhead Stadium...and Sellouts....

The Kansas City Chiefs have sold out all of their HOME games going back to Sept 1, 1991. Thus the local television blackouts have been lifted giving Kansas Citians the ability to view their Chiefs on TV if they couldn't go to the game.  Since then, the Chiefs have sold out 139 consecutive games up to today.  They also have a 104-37 home record going back to 1990, second best in the NFL.

The Chiefs lead the NFL in attendance for six straight seasons during 1994-99, and had a very long line for season tickets.  Arrowhead is the NFL's third-largest stadium with a capacity of 79,451 in the NFL's fifth smallest market!   When Carl Peterson arrived in KC for the start of the 1989 season, the Chiefs season ticket base was only 25,000.

As the Chiefs winning struggles continue, will they be able to keep the sell outs and TV black outs lifted in the future?

What a Terrific Season for Mizzou Tiger Football

2007 Missouri Tigers Football

What a season for Mizzou Tiger Football it's been!  After beating the Kansas Jayhawks at Arrowhead Stadium on 11/24/07 by a score of 36-28, the Tigers are now 11-1.  Here's a recap of their season and scores:

MU vs. Illinois, Win 40-34
MU at Mississippi, win 38-25
W. MI at MU, win 52-24
Ill State at MU, win 38-17
NE at MU, win 41-6
MU at OK, loss 41-31
Texas Tech at MU win 41-10
IA State at MU, win 42-28
MU at CO, win 55-10
Texas A&M at MU, win 40-26
MU at Kansas State, win 49-32
MU vs. KU at Arrowhead 36-28. This was the second largest crowd (80,537) EVER at Arrowhead Stadium, only second to a Chiefs vs. Raiders game in 1972.
Tigers Stars of the Game: Tony Temple, running back, Chase Daniel, quarterback, Danario Alexander, wide receiver.  With #4 MU beating #2 KU, it should send MU to the top of the BCS rankings and drop KU lower.

Now Mizzou wins the Big 12 North and goes to play OK next Saturday against the Big 12 South Winner, Oklahoma.  A victory in the Big 12 Conference could vault the Tigers into the BCS National Title Game!
