The Kansas City Royals unveiled their new alternate home uniform yesterday, with a powder blue shirt that will be worn at home games on occasions when the home white uniform is not worn.  The Royals last had powder blue road uniforms in the 1970's and 1980's during their glory days!  The Royals were one of the last teams to stop wearing powder blue among major league teams before changing to the new "cool" black road uniform trends. 

The powder blues were originally worn on the road, with powder blue tops and pants.  The updated version will be worn with white pants as the home alternate version.  With this new alternate uniform, the powder blue will be worn at home games for the first time ever at Kauffman Stadium in 2008!
